Biren Technology: China shows its weapons and will enter the graphics card market

China continues to invest in different markets to increase its presence and has now set its sights on graphics cards, where NVIDIA and AMD are the most important competitors.

Biren Technology has announced a new series of graphics cards that will seek to have the best performance at a competitive price and whose first impressions are quite impressive.

The company introduced the BR100 GPU and it is the brand’s best flagship GPU product, manufactured by TSMC using its 7nm 2.5D CoWoS photolithography.

Biren Technology and its new products

Biren Technology will include in its BR100 GPU, 77,000 million transistors and that compared to NIVIDA’s GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, it has far more than the 28,300 million transistors.

The company added 64 GB of HBM2e type VRAM with a maximum bandwidth of 2.3 Gbps with the implementation of a new PCI Express 5.0 connection interface.

China will be looking to reach personal or gaming computers, as this data is more focused on running on a server or workstation.

Biren Technology wants to break the duopoly that exists between NVIDIA and AMD, since a large part of the market is controlled by the sales of these two brands and a third could help the competition.

The company has not mentioned dates or costs for its new products, however this will be a topic that will be discussed over time and we will all be on the lookout for new information.

Chica works with different markets by investing and looking for profits, so it will be quite interesting to see how strongly it enters these new products such as graphics cards.
