Nvidia and AMD graphics card prices fell again this month

As June approaches, graphics cards become cheaper every week. Since the last shared price analysis, Nvidia graphics card prices have been reduced by six percentage points and AMD graphics card prices have decreased by five percentage points from the previous month.

The latest analysis of the European GPU market from 3DCenter shows that the downward price trend continued in May. Currently, the average Nvidia graphics card is selling for 7% above its MSRP, while AMD cards are only 2% above MSRP. However, some models, like the Radeon RX 6800, are still selling for 35% more than they should.

In Nvidia’s lineup, the RTX 3090, RTX 3090 Ti, and RTX 3080 Ti are the only models you can buy at or below their recommended price. As for the rest of the RTX 30 series, they are available up to 20% off MSRP, depending on the SKU.

On the AMD side, prices are generally closer to the MSRP. Along with the Radeon RX 6×50 XT cards, the RX 6900 XT, RX 6700 XT, RX 6600, RX 6500 XT, and RX 6400 series are all available at or below recommended price. The RX 6500 XT cards, in particular, can be had for 19% less than their suggested price.
