Nvidia and AMD graphics cards go for ridiculous prices for Prime Day

With the advent of the Internet, sites like Amazon and eBay offer people the convenience of shopping online, which can be even more enjoyable when there are offers and discounts. With Amazon Prime Day underway, there are a ton of discounted tech products. One category includes graphics cards, and it looks like a bunch of AMD and Nvidia the hardware is currently selling at around their recommended retail prices.

A quick glance at Amazon’s website indeed shows that GPUs are cheaper within a day or two. Over the past year and a half or so, many have found it near impossible to get cards at decent prices, if they can even get them at all. But now there’s a bit of respite, so getting an Nvidia or AMD product should be a little easier for now. A PC Gamer report showed some examples, such as a Gigabyte RX 6800 XT which costs £650, or around $770.

He seems to be getting even better. At the time of writing, an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT from XFX is currently 36% off, selling for $900, while a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti is just under $1,200, which is 26% discount. Sure, it’s still quite expensive, but those who have been patiently waiting for GPUs to drop to their MSRPs might finally be able to get the hardware they’ve been hoping for.

In contrast, the Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti, released in March this year, is only 10% off and sells for $2,038 for the MSI SUPRIM X model. Given that the 3090 Ti was somewhat disappointing, Representing only a small increase in performance while boasting a significant price premium over its predecessor, many may still be unwilling to part with their hard-earned cash for this one. . However, it’s probably worth a look before Prime Day ends tomorrow, in case there are any GPUs worth current value. Alternatively, the Zotac version of the RTX 3080 Ti is available for 27% off at $1,199. If you’re looking for a cheaper option as a GPU upgrade, the 3070 Ti is on sale for just under $700.

On top of that, graphics card prices usually go down anyway, with the most recent numbers showing there’s been a drop of at least 50% since the start of 2022. a brand new Nvidia or the AMD graphics card is going to set people back again, and prices may continue to drop long after Prime Day is over anyway.
